Web Architecture

Information Architecture
Blueprints for the Web

Christina Wodtke

I’ve been reading a good book as of late. The book, Information Architecture, Blueprints for the Web, has opened my eyes to a few things that I tend to overlook as a developer. The book was written by Christina Wodtke and is available via New Riders.

The book is along the same lines as Don’t Make Me Think, by Steve Krug. If you found that book to be eye-opening, you’ll probably share the same feelings about this one.

The book will introduce or refresh some of the core concepts of information architecture including: organizing web content, designing web interaction and creating easy to understand web interfaces. Remember, buildings are built with architecture, so should web sites.

Jason, you need to put the geek books down and pick up something trashy to read!
