I wanted to share a great short film that won Best Cinematography at the Gotham City Short Film Festival this year. The short, shot entirely with still images on a Canon 20D, and then edited together into a short film.
The film entitled “Between You and Me” is by Patry Krebisz.

This film was part of my inspiration for getting a 20D. Really fantastic work, even more amazing when you realize that the exposure is spot-on through almost the whole thing in spite of the fact that there are plenty of parts that could easily fool the in-camera meter. This all adds up to an enormous amount of work keeping the exposure under control.
