I’ve been asked many times, if you weren’t a web developer, what would you have been? Well, I’ve given it some thought and below you’ll find a few things I’d like to have tried:
- astronaut
- physical therapist
- bike messenger
- a cartoonist
- pilot
Maybe I’d better stick to web design…

I’d be a circus clown or a goat rancher.
In another life I could definitely have seen myself being a 3D model designer for videogames. I mean, the Warthog from Halo? That thing is 10 times as cool as any car I’ve seen in the last 5 years: how would you like to spend all day designing one of those?
On the other hand, what about cool jobs that you’ve never heard of? Like if you’re in the army, do you think you can apply for the position of “bazooka tester”? Man, I’ll enlist _today_ if I get to blow stuff up from 9 to 5 every day!
