Silent Drive

This morning I decided to drive into work in complete silence. That’s something I haven’t done since I had my first car. It was the daily norm then, since the car didn’t have a working radio.

Since then, I’ve become accustomed to having music on in the morning for the drive. Today, for some reason, I turned it off as soon as I got in my car. Maybe it has something to do with the splitting headache I’ve had for two days now. Who knows the reason behind it, but I’ll accept it and keep on rolling to work in silence.

I think tomorrow, I’ll turn it back on.

I apent a lot of time with a non-working radio in one of my first cars. Even if it was working, it was useless at high speeds. The wind on the soft sides of a Jeep Wrangler and the loud little engine made it impossible to hear the radio (or anything else for that matter.)
