The drive in
February 28th, 2006
Today I had an interesting drive in to work. Mainly because I saw a couple of things you don’t see too often. First, I saw a car fire. Pretty exciting, as long as no one was hurt. I’m surprised more cars don’t catch fire. Secondly, I saw a guy eating McDonalds and knocking back a can of Budweiser while driving, I assume to work. I’m not sure where you work and what you do that you need to start your day off with that combination, but I’m glad it’s not me! What a way to start a morning.
What weird and wacky stuff have you seen on your drive in?
Case of the Monday’s

You know it may just be a bad day when your normal 25 minute commute to work, starts off by taking you 40 minutes to go a mile. Sounds like a case of the Monday’s to me.
TeaMap TeaRoom Directory
February 26th, 2006
Since the beginning of the year, myself and several others out there, have been on a Tea kick. I came across this site and thought I’d post the link. The site, TeaMap.com, is a Tea Room locator. Simply put in your zip code and a list of Tea Rooms appear at your finger tips. Not only does it locate tea rooms, it provides tips, local tea events, tea chat and the tea chef.
I’m not sure if Tea Rooms will pick up the same popularity as coffee shops, but you may be surprised at the number of Tea Rooms already in your area. I was. Enjoy and have a spot of tea.
Interesting lingo

Here are a few words I’ve heard this week that I’ve never heard before:
- codswallop
- ginglyform
- nubbing-cheat
- pettifogging
Somehow I knew carrying that journal around would pay off. Came in handy when I overheard a conversation with people using some of these words. Have you heard any strange words recently?
