Old School Journal

February 22nd, 2006 by Jason

I keep this little blog to share a few things with all of you out there. It’s mostly about things that happen from day-to-day, or observations I make from time to time. Recently I’ve found myself carrying a journal or sketchpad with me nearly everywhere I go. I seem to be writing more things down as of late. I’m not really sure why, but it does lend itself handy when I think of an idea for work, or remember someones birthday, or if I see something happening in the area for the weekend. Maybe I’m getting old and tend to forget things more, but the kind of things I write down aren’t really of that nature.

I guess I find it to be a bit strange, since I’ve never done that before, but now I’m hooked. What things have you done recently that were surprising to you in the outcome?

I started doing the same thing about 2 months ago. It is the most important activity throughout my day. It really helps to clarify my thinking as well as act as reminders. I love it.

Doesn’t surprise me a bit. In fact, next time you’re on Del.icio.us, type in “moleskine” and see how many people are doing the same thing you are. ;)
