No more fast food

March 14th, 2006 by Jason

Thanks to the wonders of Netflix, I finally got around to watching the movie, Super Size Me. While I can say, I don’t eat fast food often, maybe a couple of times every six months or so, I can totally see why now. The amount of change that can take place to the human body over a short period of time is amazing. Granted, he exposed himself to more fast food in 30 days than most people do in 8 years, but the fact is, people live off of fast food.

I’ve known people who eat fast food twice a day for days on end. It’s simple and easy and that’s why people do it. If you’re one of those people and you want to see what can happen to a perfectly healthy human being, grab a copy of this movie. It may be a while before you pull into the drive-thru again. Besides, a little healthy living never killed anyone.

Left lane woes

March 12th, 2006 by Jason

How is it humanly possibly that the left lane can be the slowest? You can’t turn from the left lane. You can only get out of the left lane, either back into the right lane or into another turning lane on the left. Drives me nuts how the left lane can be so slow when you can’t turn.

Come on people, wake up and drive out there.

It’s like Christmas around here when that big box from Amazon arrives. I know how I’ll be spending my weekend.
