Browser mania

Seems a lot has been happening in the world of browsers this week.

First on Monday, Opera released version 9. With this update a few new features were released and they include:

  • built-in BitTorrent client
  • the ability to add your favorite search engines to the Opera search bar
  • thumbnail previews of tabs when hovering over them

just to name a few of the updates.

Second, Camino released version 1.02 into the wild fixing several security holes and rendering issues seeen on a few sites.

If you’re a fan of either one of these browsers, looks like you’re in for some updating fun. Enjoy.

I really liked opera 8.x - now with the release of 9, opera is my principle browser (not to mention e-mail client)

I’ve found myself on the Safari wagon recently. I’ve been playing the browser shuffle, but I’ve finally landed safely with Safari.
