Blogging Worldwide
I’ve been doing a bit of traveling as of late (as noted by the lack of recent posts). I’ve been traveling the east coast between Jersey, Philly, Indy and the single trip south to Raleigh. While spending lots of time on planes and in airports, I’ve continued to hear people discussing one topic, Blogging.
Seems that no matter where you go, people are talking about it. Business people are talking about corporate blogs. Family members are discussing how to post information about upcoming family birthdays and holiday plans. Frequent travelers are looking to blogs in airports to catch up on news, sports, and business. I don’t think I’ve seen such a large number of people all focused or looking to the same media source for information in a long time.
As blogging continues to increase, I’m sure that new methods of catching up on blogs (RSS…hint, hint) will begin to be seen more in airports and cafe’s around the world. Blogging has been around for a long time, but seems that just recently it’s seeped into mainstream culture as part of our everyday life.
I’m sure we’ll all continue to blog and provide insight into the everyday happenings, either trival or ever so important, but regardless of nature, a reader base has begun to grow and this can only be a good thing.
