An interesting little app reached beta status this week. NewsHawker, from Sugar Maple Software, is designed to work with my favorite feed reader, NetNewsWire.
Ever wanted to have someone read you the news? Well, now you can. NewsHawker is designed to do just that. NewsHawker speaks the items in NetNewsWire and can be configured to read only the headlines, just the bodies, or both.
I’m hoping that this little app can aid in my morning ritual of pouring through all the feeds that come in overnight. I typically read these with my first cup of java and only hit the highlights, but now I may be able to actually get a head start on the workload while having the news read to me.
