Internet for good
April 24th, 2007
If all the time spent on the Internet were put towards the good of mankind, what do you think the top outcomes/solutions would be? Mine are:
- Disease cure
- A greener environment
- Smarter children
Those are a few of mine. Share yours.
Educated consumers
April 23rd, 2007
Poor customer service really drives me batty. This weekend I was actually told by someone:
“You need to stop being unrealistic with what your looking for”.
Well, this unrealistic customer took his business elsewhere and actually found a better deal. Surprised?
Customers are more educated than ever (thanks to the Interpipes). No longer can you fool the majority of customers because access to comparison info is limited or hard to come by. Comparison info is plentiful and consumers are using it.
Customers shop and compare online before heading into a store and dealing with the hassel of the sales associate, most of which don’t give a rats arse if I buy from them or not.
So the next time you think you can bully a customer into your over-priced merchandise, remember customer education is increasing and customers are exercising their options more and more.
Better

If blogging can make you a better writer, can podcasting make you a better speaker?

24-Solo is now on the big screen.
Presented by TREK Bicycles and VW, 24 Solo, follows 24 Hour Solo World Champion Chris Eatough on his quest to a 7th consecutive title. Shot in high def, this rare glimpse into the personal life of the sport’s most successful 24 Hour racer is a rollercoaster of energy and emotion. The film balances action and emotion with commentary from the biggest names in mountain biking including Gary Fisher, John Stamstad, Hans Rey, John Tomac, Alison Dunlap, Ned Overend and others cut to a powerful soundtrack crafted by the award-winning Off Road to Athens composer Haik Naltchayan.
