Biking

April 9th, 2007 by Jason

I’m an avid mountain biker. Recently I’ve had my interest peaked by road cycling. Anyone out there made the switch or pull double duties that can lend some advice? Should I switch, stick to the trails, or both?

Masters

April 5th, 2007 by Jason

Later today the Honorary Starter ceremony, featuring Arnold Palmer, will signify the start of the 2007 Masters golf tournament. Arnie, as he is known inside the ropes, will strike the first tee shot at 7:45 AM from the 1st tee.

Palmer played in 50 consecutive Masters Tournaments, ending his streak in 2005. He played his first tournament at Augusta National back in 1955 with a 10th place finish.

It’s only fitting that a man who has earned the nickname, “The King” be the starter for a tournament called the Masters.

Fountain of youth

Keith Richards, Rolling Stones guitarist, said he had snorted his father’s ashes mixed with cocaine.

“He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn’t have cared,” he said. “… It went down pretty well, and I’m still alive.”

Richards went on to say that his survival was the result of luck, and advised young musicians against trying to emulate him.

I see no evidence that drugs have damaged his brain. What do you think?
