In exactly one week from today, the Tour de France [Official Site in French] gets underway. As a cyclists, I’m interested to see how the tour pans out after all the debate and scandal of last year with Floyd Landis.

On another note, the Tour remains one of the most advanced events in terms of Web 2.0 coverage. From the interactive stage maps, YouTube channels, live blogging coverage and other online tracking widgets and tools, the tour continues to offer easy to use solutions to fans far and wide.
