Floyd rides again

Floyd Landis [Source: Wikipedia] has accepted an invitation to ride in the Shenandoah Mountain 100 mountain bike race. The race which is sometimes referred to as the premier endurance event on the East Coast, is held in the George Washington National Forest outside of Harrisonburg, VA.

The race features a 100 mile, single day ride, with around 14,000 feet of elevation for the climbs and decents. The race is expected to draw around 450 of the nations best mountain bikers competing for the victory.

The race is scheduled for Sunday September 2nd, 2007.

    I can’t believe he is still riding after all that has happened. Definitely shows he truly loves the sport.

    I hope he has a successful return.

    Landis continues to ride because he loves cycling. You can see that in any interview or article you read from him.

    I’d glad he sticks to his roots and continues to take part in a sport he loves.

    Besides, who doesn’t love to hit the trails on a mountain bike?

    I wonder if there will be a new course record in the process
