Floyd rides again

Floyd Landis [Source: Wikipedia] has accepted an invitation to ride in the Shenandoah Mountain 100 mountain bike race. The race which is sometimes referred to as the premier endurance event on the East Coast, is held in the George Washington National Forest outside of Harrisonburg, VA.

The race features a 100 mile, single day ride, with around 14,000 feet of elevation for the climbs and decents. The race is expected to draw around 450 of the nations best mountain bikers competing for the victory.

The race is scheduled for Sunday September 2nd, 2007.

Rogue traders in Thailand have been selling the deadly meat of the puffer fish masked as salmon, Environmental Graffiti has learnt today. Eating the fish can cause paralysis, vomiting, heart failure and death. This is exactly what has happened. At least 15 people have died and 115 more have been hospitalised over a 3 year period.
