The doping case against Floyd Landis is beginning to see the end of the road. Last week, arbitrators met for the final time and officially declared the hearing closed. By closing the hearing, this ensures that Landis will have a verdict no later than September 22nd.
After Stage 17 of the 2006 Tour de France, Landis tested positive for synthetic testosterone, which he denied using while on trial.
If the decision finds Landis guilty, he faces a two year ban from cycling and will be stripped from his Tour de France title.
