Today, the Stevie Ray Vaughn “Lenny” went on sale. For a cool $17K, you can own one of 185 available in the United States.
The guitar was one of Vaughn’s favorites. It was given to him by his wife Lenora, nicknamed Lenny, for his birthday. Vaughn used the guitar to compose his namesake instrumental piece long before Vaughn reached super-stardom.
In 2004, Guitar Center purchased the original guitar for $623,500 from Christie’s auction house. You can purchase your own at Guitar Center.
