Before going out

Over the holiday, I received a wireless thermometer system from La Crosse. I’ve seen these all over the place and my dad has used one for years and really likes having it around.

I set up the unit in minutes and began to watch it. It seems like such a small thing, but I find myself looking at the temperature often. The unit I have shows, indoor and outdoor temperature, high and low temps from the day, and the time. So it really squeezes in a lot of data in a small device.

It sort of gives you some pleasure in knowing that while I’m sitting there drinking my morning coffee, the temperature is 18 degrees outside and a cozy 65 degrees inside.

Do you use a weather station/thermometer or other weather device? If so, what are your thoughts?
