Two years ago I purchased a smartphone running Windows Mobile. For two years now I’ve struggled numerous times in using the phone. The struggles were the same struggles and frustrations that I dealt with while using a PC. While I’ve never gotten the “blue screen” on the mobile device, I would experience screen freezes and the device locking up, forcing me to remove the battery.

That frustration ended Friday. I ditched Windows Mobile and switched to the iPhone. After the two minute activation process, I had that same feeling I had when I switched to the Mac. The ease of use, the fantastic user experience, the beautiful interface that is Apple.

Apple has exceeded my expectations and solidified me, once again, as a lifetime loyal customer. Thanks Apple.

All to often we read tragic stories of cyclists being hit and killed by motor vehicles. In an effort to raise awareness of cyclists and their safety, professional cyclist David Zabriskie has launched a new effort called Yield to Life.

Yield to Life offers tips for both cyclists and motorists, programs you can join and participate in and ways to support the cause.
