Holiday wrap-up

May 27th, 2008

With Memorial Day in the books, I’d like to know how you spent your long weekend? Did the price of gas keep you at home? Did you have the perfect outdoor grilling experience? Spend a lazy day by the pool?

Or, were you like me and spent the majority of your weekend trying to knock a few items of the DIY list?

Frank feedback

May 21st, 2008

Today’s post is about frank feedback. No, frank feedback is not a person, at least that I know of. If so, Frank can you please leave a comment? By frank feedback, I mean true, open, honest feedback that you provide in a blog post, a comment, on a survey or in an email.

We’ve all bought into the theory that people are more open and honest when it comes to sharing their opinions online. It’s been said that people open up and say things online they normally wouldn’t say in a focus group or face to face with another person.

So with this being the ‘accepted truth’, my question to you is:

Do you provide frank feedback when leaving a comment or sharing your opinion online, or do you tame comments to match the tone of those around you?
