The music world has lost a legend. Music legend Bo Diddley passed on Monday. He was 79.
Diddley know for such songs as “Who Do You Love?” and “Bo Diddley” added a beat to the music world known as the Bo Diddley beat. The beat, produced by the unique rectangular-bodied guitar, was a corner-stone for the what was the beginning of rock-and-roll.
Over the years, artists such as The Yardbirds, the Rolling Stones, U2 and Bruce Springsteen all covered songs by Diddley. His mark left on all these great bands.
Bo Diddley, you’ll be missed.
