We love your feedback

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

I’ve been a huge fan of Patagonia products for some time now. I’ve learned that spending a little more in the beginning can save you time, money and frustration in the end when you’ve beaten the living hell out of a product and it keeps up. Bring in Patagonia products.

Over at The Cleanest Line, the Patagonia blog, they’ve posted an excellent article discussing how they handle product feedback on a product. It’s good to see that not only do they listen to users concerns, but they even take the time to write blog posts outlining the process and even show you the changes, based on feedback, incorporated into new versions of their products.

I’ve recently been considering the product being discussed, so it’s nice to see all the feedback and improvements that have gone into making this product the best it can be.

It’s great to see articles and companies like this who aren’t afraid to step out there and share the process with the consumer and openly acknowledge customer feedback. Patagonia, keep up the good work.

Gorillapod

I take my camera with me every single place I go. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to try and place the camera on an object to set the timer and then have the camera not be level. Well, there’s an awesome solution out there.

The Gorillapod by Joby, is a tripod like no other. It screws into your camera, but offers a quick release that allows you to leave the base screwed into your camera and still remove the legs. But thats not the best part. The Gorillapod has at least 30 or more fully articulating ball-and-socket joints that comprise the legs. You can bend and twist them into any shape, and they’ll always keep your camera steady! You can even wrap them around objects for easier shooting of pictures.

The Gorillapod is lightweight and comes in various sizes and colors. So the next time you need to position your camera on a rough, uneven surface, or hang it from an object, reach for the Gorillapod.
